The School Day
At Bethersden Primary School our day begins at 8.30am for children when the school gates open ready to welcome children in to school. Children may arrive at any time up to 8.40am. During this time children get themselves organised for the day ahead, take part in early morning learning, are supported with interventions to help children who have found concepts tricky and to feel settled and ready for a busy day of learning.
At 8.40am we take the register and go to the hall for assembly. Assemblies each day are led by members of staff and visitors.
Lessons begin at 9.00am for all children.
